So the boy's birthday was on Monday, and I wanted to give him the best birthday ever because he is turning 21, and he's been so good to me, so he totally deserves it.

At first I planned to give him a surprise chalet, but I thought that would be too ordinary. So I thought, hey why not book a hotel just for the both of us instead?

I went online, and the prices of all the hotels almost made me fall off the chair.

Something classy like Shangri-la would set me back almost $400-$500 and that was the cheapest!

I decided to go with boutique hotels instead, since it would be more special, and not ordinary. I searched. I initially was intended to book Scarlett Hotel but it was also $400 ): At that time I had no job, so that would be out of the question.

I searched and searched, and found the best hotel ever! Hotel Re! I actually have never heard of it prior to this search, so I was quite pleased with myself when I found it. It was nice and the ambience was good (:

I checked the website for promotions! And almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that during the GSS, they were offering a room at only $128++, that worked out to about $150.

That was not all, they also threw in a 30% voucher if we dined at the hotel's restaurant, complimentary overnight parking, free wireless, free cable tv and complimentary breakfast for 2.

I jumped at the opportunity and booked the hotel almost 1 month early.

The day came, I was apprehensive, after all, I have NEVER heard of this hotel. Still, I went there, and I was shocked. It took my breath away.

The place was nice, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Plus the rooms were AWESOME.



So I checked in at 2pm on Monday afternoon and started preparing for the arrival of my baby boy (:

Yay cos the boy loved the cake!!!!! I had to run to get flowers, and cake before going to the hotel, I got lost and it was so bloody hot!!!!

I prepared for almost an hour because I kept changing the arrangements and stuff. Then the boy finally came!!!! Say hello to my favourite boy (;









Then we chilled and watched tv. Both of us felt so happy. Like an unspoken kind of happiness (:

Dinner was damn nice, and the food was affordable! LIke $12.90 for my burger and fries? Cheap!!!!!



His steak cost me $29.50! Hahaha he said it was the best steak he ever ate! (:

The total bill. After our 30% discount. Less than 50 bucks. PLUS the food was good, the service was good, we even had soup, main course and dessert. And still it was so cheap! The ambience? Was awesome!!!!!!



DID I ALREADY MENTION I TOTALLY LOVE THIS PLACE????????!!!!!!!!! Cheap accomodation, cheap food, good ambience, good service, exclusivity since not many people know about it!!!!!

Went back to the room by 9 cos the boy wanted to watch the channel 8 show. So cute.







Went into the room, and he immediately ran to the tv and on it. Without even sitting down first! SO CUTE! Like little boy!!!



Then he sat in front of the tv and stared at it. Omg is he so cute or what!!!! Okay I know, love is blind right (: I think so too. I can't help but think he's damn cute!!!!

As if the hotel isn't fantastic enough, the bed was SOOOO comfortable. Being in the arms of my favourite boy, in such a comfortable bed? HEAVEN!!!



More camwhoring after shower. PLUS they don't give like cheapskate shampoo and shower gel like most hotels. They provide L'OCCITANE shampoo, conditioner, shower gel AND body lotion! HOW AWESOME IS THAT.

Most hotel shampoos leave my hair feeling DAMN dry. But after showering, my hair was tame and nice and very soft (:

At 1am, we were both hungry! We ordered macs!!!!! And then watched The Incredible Hulk on HBO. How awesome can this get!!!

I felt so happy after the stay, really relaxed. Felt like I wasn't in Singapore. Like we took a short trip away from our hectic life. Felt so rejuvinated after that. I would totally recommend this hotel to everyone cos its so cheap and value for money!!!!!! PLUS its not like cheapskate or anything, its actually damn nice!!!!

Okay I know I sound cheapskate in this entry but I really cannot help raving about how AWESOME this place is and what an AWESOME time I had!!!!!!

Even though it wasn't my birthday, I totally enjoyed it as much as the birthday boy!!!!!

I miss the place. Sigh ):
